John Masters Organics
Posted on February 22nd, 2009 No commentsBy now you’ve probably realized that I prefer using skin care products with natural ingredients (and organic whenever possible!). This is precisely the reason why I use and recommend John Masters Organics products. Of course John Masters is known for his hair care products (you should try those too). In this video John explains in his own words why he uses natural organic ingredients and you’ll see that he really cares about his company, his products, and his customers.

Green Tea Sugar Scrub
Posted on February 14th, 2009 No commentsUsing a sugar scrub is an easy, cost effective way to pamper yourself. It’s primary ingredient, sugar, exfoliates dead skin cells, making your skin soft and glowing. When you gently massage the skin with a sugar scrub you are helping to improve circulation which helps eliminate toxins in the body. The addition of green tea in the following recipe gives the added benefits of antioxidants to your skin. Here’s the recipe. You can follow along with the instructions in the video.
Green Tea Sugar Scrub
1 2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup carrier oil (sweet almond, apricot, olive or jojoba oil from a health food store)
1 green tea bag
a few drops essential oil (optional)

Armed with this, the new tea drinker, or someone interested in purchasing green tea as a gift for a tea lover can make informed choices and build a foundation of green tea knowledge that will serve well over the years. Highly recommended!
