Green Tea Recipe with Citrus

Green tea can also be enjoyed as a cold beverage.  Here’s a recipe for a cool, fruity green tea and citrus drink.  NOte:  a juice machine is suggested for this recipe.  If you do not have a juicer, you may use a blender.

Green Tea with Citrus

2 oranges

1/4 lime

2 Tablespoons crystallized ginger (found in the spices aisle)

1 cup brewed green tea, chilled

Peel oranges, leaving some of the white pith.  Put oranges through a juice machine.  Pour orange juice and green tea into a blender.  Add crystallized ginger and blend for about 30 seconds.  Add ice and garnish with citrus slices. Makes 2 servings.
